The Notification Bell
The bell icon in the top-right corner of SVP shows your unread notification count. Click it to open a dropdown panel with your recent notifications.
Notification Types
SVP generates notifications automatically based on activity in your account:
- Maintenance Due β A vehicle has reached a service interval threshold
- Low Stock β An inventory item has dropped below its minimum quantity
- Inspection Overdue β A pre-trip inspection is past due
- Job Status β A job status has changed
- New User β A new team member has been added
- System β General system notifications
Severity Levels
Notifications are color-coded by severity:
- Critical (red) β Requires immediate attention
- Warning (amber) β Should be addressed soon
- Info (blue) β For your awareness
Managing Notifications
- Click Mark All Read at the top of the panel to clear all unread notifications
- Click any notification to view more details or navigate to the related item
- The unread count refreshes automatically every 30 seconds
