Notification Center

How the notification bell and alerts work in SVP.

The Notification Bell

The bell icon in the top-right corner of SVP shows your unread notification count. Click it to open a dropdown panel with your recent notifications.

Notification Types

SVP generates notifications automatically based on activity in your account:

  • Maintenance Due β€” A vehicle has reached a service interval threshold
  • Low Stock β€” An inventory item has dropped below its minimum quantity
  • Inspection Overdue β€” A pre-trip inspection is past due
  • Job Status β€” A job status has changed
  • New User β€” A new team member has been added
  • System β€” General system notifications

Severity Levels

Notifications are color-coded by severity:

  • Critical (red) β€” Requires immediate attention
  • Warning (amber) β€” Should be addressed soon
  • Info (blue) β€” For your awareness

Managing Notifications

  • Click Mark All Read at the top of the panel to clear all unread notifications
  • Click any notification to view more details or navigate to the related item
  • The unread count refreshes automatically every 30 seconds
