When to Archive
At the end of each CL season — typically February or March after all takedowns are complete — you can archive the season to clear the map and job lists for the next year.
How to Archive
- Go to Settings > Modules tab
- Scroll to the Christmas Lights — Season Archive card at the bottom
- Review what gets archived vs. preserved (see below)
- Click Archive Season...
- Type RESET in the confirmation field
- Click Archive Season to confirm
What Gets Archived vs. Preserved
- Preserved: Client records, bin locations & contents, storage map, estimates
- Archived: CL jobs (installs), takedowns, repairs
All client data, bins, and inventory are completely untouched — ready for the next season.
After Archiving
The CL Map, Takedowns page, and Repairs page will be cleared. Your client list and storage map remain exactly as they were.
Season Archive Reminder
During February and March, a helpful banner appears on the CL Map reminding you to archive when the season ends.
Permissions
Only users with the Settings / Modules permission can perform this action. Crew members cannot reset the season.
