Connect GorillaDesk to SVP via Zapier

Automatically sync new GorillaDesk customers into SVP using a Zapier webhook.

Overview

GorillaDesk integrates with Zapier to let you push new customers into SVP automatically. This is especially useful if you're running both platforms during a transition period.

What You'll Need

  • A Zapier account
  • Your GorillaDesk account connected to Zapier
  • Your SVP webhook endpoint URL (found in Settings β†’ Integrations β†’ Webhook URL)

Available GorillaDesk Triggers

  • New Customer β€” fires when a new customer is created
  • New Job
  • Job Completed
  • New Invoice

Step 1: Sign into Zapier

Log in at zapier.com.

Step 2: Create a New Zap

Click + Create Zap.

Step 3: Set the Trigger β€” New Customer from GorillaDesk

  1. Search for and select GorillaDesk.
  2. Choose New Customer as the trigger event.
  3. Connect your GorillaDesk account.
  4. Test with a recent customer record.

Step 4: Set the Action β€” Webhooks by Zapier β†’ POST to SVP

  1. Add action: Webhooks by Zapier β†’ POST.
  2. Paste your SVP webhook URL and set payload type to JSON.

Step 5: Map Fields

  • first_name β†’ GorillaDesk: First Name
  • last_name β†’ GorillaDesk: Last Name
  • email β†’ GorillaDesk: Email
  • phone β†’ GorillaDesk: Phone
  • address β†’ GorillaDesk: Street Address
  • city β†’ GorillaDesk: City
  • state β†’ GorillaDesk: State
  • zip β†’ GorillaDesk: Zip Code

Step 6: Test and Activate

Test the action and confirm the customer appears in SVP. Publish the Zap to go live.
