Overview
ServiceTitan provides customer export through its reporting and customer management sections. Because ServiceTitan is a more complex platform, the exact path may vary slightly depending on your account tier and configuration.
Steps to Export
- Log in to ServiceTitan and navigate to Customers (or CRM β Customers depending on your navigation setup).
- Use the search/filter options to view the set of customers you want to export (all, by tag, by location, etc.).
- Look for an Export or Download button in the toolbar above the customer list. In some versions, click the Actions dropdown to find it.
- Select Export to CSV. ServiceTitan may process the export and email it to you, or download it directly.
Alternatively, use Reports β Custom Reports to build a customer contact report and export it as CSV if the direct export is unavailable in your plan.
Common Fields Included
- Customer Name (may be combined or split)
- Service Address (Street, City, State, Zip)
- Billing Address
- Phone Number(s)
- Customer Type (Residential / Commercial)
- Tags / Customer Since
Gotchas
- ServiceTitan separates service address and billing address β SVP uses one primary address per client. Import the one that makes more sense for your workflow (usually service address).
- ServiceTitan exports may include many extra columns. Use SVP's mapper to Skip anything you don't need.
- Very large exports are typically queued and emailed. Allow 10β30 minutes for large customer lists.
- Some ServiceTitan plans restrict data export β contact your ServiceTitan rep if the export option is missing.
Once you have your CSV, see Importing Clients from a CSV to bring them into SVP.
