Overview
GorillaDesk makes it easy to export all your customers as a CSV directly from the customer management area.
Steps to Export
- Log in to GorillaDesk at app.gorilladesk.com.
- Click Customers in the left sidebar.
- In the customer list view, click the Export button (look for a download icon in the top-right of the list).
- Select Export to CSV.
- GorillaDesk downloads the file to your computer immediately.
Common Fields Included
- First Name, Last Name
- Company
- Service Address (Street, City, State, Zip)
- Billing Address
- Phone (primary and secondary)
- Customer Notes
- Active/Inactive status
Gotchas
- GorillaDesk exports both service and billing addresses β pick the one most relevant for SVP. For field service work, service address is usually the better choice.
- The export includes all customers (active and inactive) by default. You can filter to active only in the list view before exporting if you only want active clients.
- Notes fields may contain line breaks that could wrap oddly in a spreadsheet β verify your data looks clean before importing.
