Export Clients from GorillaDesk

How to export your customer list from GorillaDesk as a CSV for import into SVP.

Overview

GorillaDesk makes it easy to export all your customers as a CSV directly from the customer management area.

Steps to Export

  1. Log in to GorillaDesk at app.gorilladesk.com.
  2. Click Customers in the left sidebar.
  3. In the customer list view, click the Export button (look for a download icon in the top-right of the list).
  4. Select Export to CSV.
  5. GorillaDesk downloads the file to your computer immediately.

Common Fields Included

  • First Name, Last Name
  • Company
  • Service Address (Street, City, State, Zip)
  • Billing Address
  • Phone (primary and secondary)
  • Email
  • Customer Notes
  • Active/Inactive status

Gotchas

  • GorillaDesk exports both service and billing addresses β€” pick the one most relevant for SVP. For field service work, service address is usually the better choice.
  • The export includes all customers (active and inactive) by default. You can filter to active only in the list view before exporting if you only want active clients.
  • Notes fields may contain line breaks that could wrap oddly in a spreadsheet β€” verify your data looks clean before importing.
