Connect Jobber to SVP via Zapier

Overview

Using Zapier, you can automatically push new customers from Jobber into SVP the moment they're created. This keeps both platforms in sync without manual CSV imports.

What You'll Need

• A Zapier account (free plan works for basic triggers)
• Your Jobber account connected to Zapier
• Your SVP webhook endpoint URL (found in Settings → Integrations → Webhook URL)

Available Jobber Triggers

Jobber's Zapier integration supports triggers including:

• New Client — fires when a new client is created
• New Job — fires when a new job is created
• Job Status Changed — fires when a job moves to a new status
• New Invoice — fires when an invoice is created

Step 1: Sign into Zapier

Go to zapier.com and log in to your account. If you don't have one, create a free account.

Step 2: Create a New Zap

Click + Create Zap from your Zapier dashboard.

Step 3: Set the Trigger — New Client from Jobber

1. Search for and select Jobber as the trigger app.
2. Choose New Client as the trigger event.
3. Connect your Jobber account when prompted (you'll authorize via OAuth).
4. Test the trigger — Zapier will pull a recent client record from Jobber to confirm the connection.

Step 4: Set the Action — Webhooks by Zapier → POST to SVP

1. Click the + to add an action step.
2. Search for and select Webhooks by Zapier.
3. Choose POST as the action event.
4. In the URL field, paste your SVP webhook endpoint URL from Settings → Integrations.
5. Set Payload Type to JSON.

Step 5: Map Fields

In the Data section, map Jobber fields to SVP fields:

• first_name → Jobber: First Name
• last_name → Jobber: Last Name
• email → Jobber: Email
• phone → Jobber: Phone
• address → Jobber: Billing Address Street
• city → Jobber: Billing Address City
• state → Jobber: Billing Address Province
• zip → Jobber: Billing Address Postal Code

Step 6: Test and Activate

Click Test action. Zapier will POST a test payload to SVP. Check your SVP client list to confirm the test client appeared. If successful, click Publish Zap to activate it.

Once live, every new client created in Jobber will automatically appear in SVP within seconds.
